2. Data that may be processed
The website is primarily informational and does not contain a clinical form. We may process information you voluntarily provide when contacting us, such as your name, phone number, email address and details needed to understand your request. Technical browsing data, such as device, visited pages and traffic source, may be processed if measurement tools are activated.
Health information is sensitive personal data. If shared directly with the clinic, it will be handled only for purposes compatible with the contact, assessment or care, subject to professional confidentiality and applicable law.
3. Purposes
- respond to questions and contact requests;
- organize appointments and provide guidance about services;
- provide psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment or psychotherapy after care is formally arranged;
- maintain website security and operation and, when applicable, measure performance;
- comply with legal, regulatory and professional obligations.
4. Sharing and external services
Data may be processed by providers necessary for website operation, communications and technical support, in line with the relevant service purpose. When you choose WhatsApp, you also use an external service governed by Meta’s own terms and privacy policy. Clínica Ler does not sell personal data.
5. Retention and security
Data is kept for the period required by the stated purposes and applicable legal or professional retention periods. Reasonable security measures are used to reduce risks of unauthorized access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure.
6. Your rights
Under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, information about sharing and, when applicable, anonymization, restriction, deletion, portability, objection or review of automated decisions. Identity verification may be required to protect the data subject.
7. Cookies and measurement
Strictly necessary resources may be used for website operation and security. Non-essential analytics or advertising tools, if implemented, must respect the visitor’s applicable choices. This version of the website does not ask you to enter health information in dedicated fields.
